In a devastated land, a young boy and his dad live a normal-ish life, but the finding of an unfamiliar object will change everything. The scenario is inspired by my hometown (or a dystopian version of it) and also the seminal work of Hayao Miyazaki, Future Boy Conan (Mirai Shōnen Konan, 1978).
I also did the boards for this one. It was an extremely quick project, but I tried to add a more atmospheric look to my vectors. The colors of the backgrounds are similar to our main character. I wanted to suggest that this is his vision of the world. Yes, is devastated and dangerous, but also beautiful and full of adventure possibilities!
