Poster created for the group exhibition PopTales (Berlin, 2017). I wanted to bring something from my homeland to show at the exhibition, but I felt that Brazilian culture is so vast that I couldn’t find a way to summarize it. So that’s how the idea of small “snapshots” of moments showing dances, music and attitude came together. Frevo, Maracatu, Côco, Manguebeat are music styles that are still present in my life and I wanted to created as playful but nostalgic poster.
